3-D Conversion is the industry term for creating a stereoscopic 3-D image from a normal, "flat" 2-D picture. Usually this means defining the picture you are given as the left eye view and creating a right eye view to go with it. When the final print is to be lenticular, twelve or more separate views are created. I was doing this manually before the personal computer came along. It would be gross understatement to say that Adobe Photoshop and the Macintosh computer have been a help. All of the images in this group came to me as 2-D drawings or photographs.
