In the fall of 1994 I was a guest teacher at the art school of Gothenborg University in Sweden. One of the staff, Gota Svensson, showed me a picture of this sculpture she constructed in the far north as well as an antique map of her Northern homeland. I created this picture as a demonstration piece as I taught and we sent the image back to the U.S. over the net.
